We recently blogged about the importance of companies using the data at their disposal to create online content.
Far too few companies do it, so we thought we’d take the opportunity to lead by example, and have taken a look at some of the data behind our clients’ successful recent campaigns.
One of the key measurements we use (although there are many) is to look at ‘Page One search terms’: basically, the number of different words or phrases that, when typed into Google, will result in our client being listed on the first, most prominent page of results.
Naturally, the more page one search terms you have, the more chance there is of someone finding your company, and all of our creative work is integrated to help achieve this.
Podium takes an all-encompassing approach to SEO – impressive search results and good google rankings work best if they are backed up by an integrated social media campaign and sparkling, interesting content.
We have, for example, helped a client in the renewable energy sector which, ten months ago, had zero page one Google rankings. The firm now has 36 page one search terms, as a result of Podium’s technical SEO, blog and social media work.
A construction firm we work with is now benefiting from 5,000 more visitors to its website per month than when it started working with Podium.
Elsewhere, a supplier to the construction sector had suffered in search rankings after it relaunched its website. Podium stepped in to help and the client now has 14 page one search terms.
This spring, Podium started working with a North East law firm which, again, had zero page one search terms: three months later, the firm has 19 page one search terms. A different professional services provider is now seeing more organic web traffic arrive at its website than ever before – and we’ve only been working with them on blogs, e-newsletter campaigns and SEO for two months.
Instant results can be hard to achieve when SEO is done properly and when it is carried out in line with Google’s latest standards. However, with a content-rich campaign built on the right technical know-how and preparation work, Podium can get your company noticed.
