SEO Consultant Sarah Atkinson is the newest arrival at Podium. In order to learn a bit more about her, we asked her a few questions.

Over to you, Sarah…

Career background?

I have worked in the digital marketing industry since leaving Northumbria University in 2012, where I graduated with a degree in Business Information Technology and Entrepreneurship. My experience is predominantly agency-side where I have been fortunate to work with a number of leading brands to start-ups and everything in between. I’m a bit of an all-rounder so I have experience managing campaigns in search engine optimisation, paid search, social media and affiliate marketing.

Role at Podium?

I work on all things search. This involves delivering SEO campaigns for clients and on a day to day basis and I could be working on anything from conducting keyword research to identifying and fixing technical issues.

Describe your perfect Saturday night?

I’m going to sound really boring but you can’t beat a bit of Netflix. I tend to watch Forensic Files back to back. I’m pretty sure I could get away with the perfect murder now..

Can you tell us a joke?

What do you call a chicken in a shell suit? An egg – Sorry it’s the only joke I can remember.

Dream car?

A build your own Range Rover although I doubt I’d be able to park it!

Best holiday you’ve ever been on?

New York, by far! I absolutely love exploring new cities and getting lost in the process, and there’s no better place than the big apple for that.

Cheese or chocolate?

Cheese, obvs!

Favourite sport?
I don’t really play sport these days. Does watching rugby count?
