‘Hope she was worth it’: It has emerged that a very public dumping of a man who was alleged to have cheated on his partner was a publicity stunt for a limited edition Range Rover.
The story went viral earlier in May after pictures emerged of a Range Rover that had been defaced with bright red spray paint, bearing the messages ‘cheater’ and ‘Hope she was worth it’.
The story certainly captured the imagination – everyone loves the idea of a scorned woman taking matters into her own hands and hitting her ex where it really hurts.

It’s certainly a brave move, but it worked really well. Almost every major news outlet carried the story, including the value of the car.
Good work!
